I wanted to see if i could create

a rhythmic, psychological atmosphere using vocal narrative layers,

original recordings, and shifting loops—

I found that when using voice as the primary storytelling tool,

the same pace that creates deep relaxation can be used as the same pace to create intense suspense.

i found myself thinking deeply about using time as a narrative layer.
